Zhuzhou Municipal Government has deployed Kedacom HD video surveillance system to monitor public bicycle rentals, which encompasses over 1000 bicycles for rent in 500 public bike rental service points throughout the city. This surveillance network will help the government achieving visual management in bike service points citywide, improving the control system and ensuring daily security.

By leasing the "Global Eyes" surveillance platform jointly deployed by China Telecom and Kedacom, the administration is able to achieve city-wide high-definition video surveillance and integration, storage and playback, alarm monitoring at every bicycle rental station. "Global Eye" video surveillance is a broadband network-based value-added service on remote transmission and management of images.

Front-end surveillance video data can be centrally stored and replayed over a storage access network. Administrator can browse, control, as well as command the monitoring sources by configuring a centralized HD decoding display. This system also simultaneously integrates electronic map tracking that will improve system's management efficiency on front-end monitoring points.

As the front-end component, the system use Kedacom HD IP camera, which provides high quality monitoring of bicycle rental sites, bicycle lanes and traffic flow in every corner of the city. This IP surveillance system will ensure effectively remote control and management of bike rental sites and equipment, while also helps to increase the urban area safety.
