On 5th November, the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai, and nearly 3000 exhibitors from 127 countries and regions took parts in. The number of participating countries and companies hit a new record.
As an experienced company in guarding the CIIE for four consecutive years, this year, KEDACOM has also applied a number of intelligent achievements in the CIIE, and made every effort ensuring the safety of the city and the operation of traffic flow.
Ensuring a Quick and Smooth Passenger Flow on Subway
For subway flow control and management, while tens of millions of people are taking the subway in Shanghai during the CIIE, Shanghai Shentong Metro Group uses KEDACOM Body Worn Camera to achieve a visualized command and dispatch to the Subway Maintenance Department, and ensure a secure and stable passenger flow even under the high pressure.
For pedestrian flow control and management, KEDACOM Sidewalk Traffic Management System has been applied to guide the pedestrians of major intersections in Shanghai. The system has been widely implemented for 4 years, and now, there are more than 1,400 sidewalk traffic management devices have been installed 14 districts of Shanghai.
For the checkpoint management of the city, Huaqiao Smart Checkpoint was fulfilling its mission in guarding the CIIE security for the fourth time. With assistance of KEDACOM security systems, more than 30 fugitives and drug-related personnel have been inspected at the checkpoint in the past three years. The checkpoint accurately investigated more than 200,000 people and vehicles entering Shanghai this year. While reducing the security risks at the city gates, the system also ensuring a fast passing for vehicles in general.
Providing Cutting-edge Visual Command and Dispatch
During the CIIE, Suzhou launched its joint duty regulation of major events. KEDACOM Converged Communication Dispatching system has been applied to key areas for checkpoints dispatching, including Huaqiao, Kunshan and other Jiangsu-Shanghai boundaries. When any abnormal situation was found, all communication resources can be scheduled synchronously, and give instructions to the police on duty directly. It can provide a flat, visualized, real-time command and dispatch throughout the entire operation process.
