Recently, KEDACOM’s invention “a method and device for automatic focusing based on area of interest” won silver for the China Patent Award, the highest award in the field of patents in the country.
Aiming to solve common problems in imaging field such as slow focusing, KEDACOM innovatively generates the “area of interest” into a weight template automatically through Gaussian function, making the camera focusing faster and more efficient, the image is clearer, and the accuracy of AI algorithm is improving greatly.
Based on the patent, KEDACOM has developed a variety of video products and solutions and applied them to nearly 30 government departments and law enforcement agencies in China. Meanwhile, KEDACOM has also played an important role in the Two Sessions and the BRICS Conference and other significant national events.
Innovation is always the driving force behind the development of KEDACOM. The R&D investment a year accounts for about 20% of the company’s annual revenue. So far, KEDACOM owns nearly 1,000 patents, of which invention patents account for more than 71%. And we will never stop innovating for a safer world and a more sustainable society.
