“How about the current situation in the field?”

“There’s no damage to people, and now there is smoke on the roof.”

Recently, Korea MBS News reported the Command Centre System which is able to broadcast and communicate with command centers through the cameras installed in vehicles used by Korea 119 Fire and Rescue department.

KEDACOM vehicle system is widely well used in this Command Centre System. This system is designed for multipurpose use and enable capture videos in HD quality during movement, it also delivers superior 4G image quality which is incredible and impressive to the clients, thus helping to increase efficiency during day-to-day rescue operation in Korea 119 Fire and Rescue department.

119 Fire and Rescue in Korea is part of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and is responsible for nationwide integrated fire, ambulance and rescue assistance. The Command Centers response vehicles belonging to these fire and rescue HQs were already equipped with advanced communication systems.

However, they desired to integrate vehicle solutions with their core tasks so that by means of videos captured at the scenes to which they responded, they could better grasp the ground reality, there, and further improve their efforts.

It is worth mentioning that we received positive feedbacks from WOO SUNG-BONG who is general manager of Fire-Fighting Headquarters, “We have been able to respond quickly and accurately to the disaster scene because we make video judgment on the radio.”

The system also relies on the KEDACOM Wireless Transmission Protocol (KWTP) to transmit videos between vehicles and Command Center even under harsh network conditions. The VMS allows them to remotely monitor the exact location of, and live view videos from, each response vehicle while the same can be stored safely.

As for KEDACOM, it is truly an honor and a privilege to work with 119 Fire and Rescue, Korea, and the company will provide them further assistance when required.
